    Duda Invites Retailers to Promote ‘Happy Hearts’

    Touts healthy snacks with sweepstakes, Biggest Loser alignment 

    Duda Farm Fresh Foods and is taking a lead role in helping retailers share the love of their healthy, convenient fresh produce products during February Heart Health Month with a consumer sweepstakes.

    During the month of February, Duda Farm Fresh Foods – one of the world’s largest celery producers and full-service grower, packer, shipper, processor, marketer, importer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables – will donate $1 to the American Heart Association (up to $500) for every entry into the Happy Heart Sweepstakes contest which will award three winners with the following prize pack:

    • $100 Visa Gift card
    • Biggest Loser Exercise DVD Power Cross Train
    • Biggest Loser Family Cookbook
    • Duda Farm Fresh Foods reusable grocery bag

    The Oviedo, Fla.-based company is also promoting its contest online and through its social media channels.

    “This American Heart Month, our family at Duda Farm Fresh Foods wants our shoppers’ families to consider what steps you can take to promote a heart healthy lifestyle,” said Nichole Towell, director of marketing. “There’s no better Valentine than a healthy heart.”

    The contest giveaway also aligns with the company’s other promotional partnership with NBC’s "The Biggest Loser."

    To enter, consumers can visit DudaFresh.com/happyheart through March 4, 2014, and complete a short form. There is a limit of one entry per person per e-mail during the promotion period and one prize per person per household.
