Future Food Brands’ Joy to the Cook: The Recipe for Holiday Entertaining contest offers consumers two chances to win a $200 prize package through the company’s two brands, Salads of the Sea and Santa Barbara Bay.
Through Dec. 16, people can visit www.facebook.com/saladsofthesea or www.facebook.com/santabarbarabay, “like” either product line, and click the “contest” tab on the left-hand side to send in their best holiday entertaining recipes containing either Salads of the Sea or Santa Barbara Bay items. Entrants are encouraged to include accompanying pictures of the finished recipes.
“As stand-alone products, Future Food Brands’ dips and spreads are always a hit at holiday parties, but we want to see the other ways our consumers use our products to spice up their holidays,” explained Emily Alfano, director of marketing and new product development of Carrollton, Texas-based Future Food Brands. “We hope that by offering these prizes as an incentive, it will inspire consumers to use their culinary skills to be as creative as possible.”
The winner of each brand’s contest will receive a holiday entertaining prize package worth $200. Each of the prize packages consists of a $100 gift card to Crate & Barrel, and a $100 party package featuring Crate & Barrel servingware and Santa Barbara Bay or Salads of the Sea products. The party package portion of the prizes will offer party trays containing a snack and a combination of two dips, spreads or Greek Yogurt flavors arrayed side by side in individual compartments, along with other retail products. As well as these prizes, the winner and winning recipes will be showcased on Facebook and Twitter.
All entries will be judged by a panel of Future Food Brand experts. The submitters of the winning recipes for the two brands will be informed on Dec. 19.
