Milly Santana of XL Alliance interviews Jose Luis Prado, president of Quaker Foods & Snacks North America, about his thoughts on the Hispanic Retail 360 Summit, held in August in La Jolla, Calif.
Prado, who also served as a general session speaker, said he was “surprisingly pleased” with the quality of the information presented at the summit, which Quaker’s parent, Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo, sponsored for the first time.
“If you are not interested in this segment now, you better start getting it very quickly onto your agenda,” said Prado, “because you are going to realize the critical role the Hispanic segment is playing.”
He added that it’s time for companies to “integrate their Hispanic strategy into their corporate strategy.”
