Fairway Market, the well-known New York metro-area gourmet supermarket chain, now offers almost 400 products on its newly rolled-out e-commerce site. The online destination enables those who don’t live in the region to experience the grocer’s wide variety of specialty, organic and international foods, just in time for the holiday season.
“We are always being asked about selling our products online so former New Yorkers, as well as others across the country who know of us, can enjoy their favorite olive oils, sauces, jams, coffee and so many other foods that are exclusive to Fairway,” explained Howie Glickberg, CEO of big Apple-based Fairway. “[O]ur e-commerce program will make it possible for everyone to enjoy the best of the best that has helped make Fairway so unique.”
Items sold on the site include Fairway exclusive imported barrel olive oils, the full line of Fairway premises-toasted coffee in four grind options; Fairway private label items such as honey, jam, maple syrup, spices, vinegar, pasta sauces, antipasti and barbeque sauce; European specialty imports like honey, sea salt, cured fish, tapenades and spreads, artisanal vinegars and olive oils, French mustard and Italian pasta; gift baskets; and in-store gift cards.
