Family Dollar Names V.P.-Human Resources
MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Family Dollar Stores, Inc. here has hired Bryan E. Venberg to the position of s.v.p.-human resources. Venberg will report to chairman and c.e.o. Howard R. Levine.

"With more than 13 years of retail experience, Bryan brings with him a proven track record of human resource and store operations experience. Through his leadership, we will continue to develop our associate talent to support our continued growth."
Before joining Family Dollar, Venberg was s.v.p., operations, customer service, and human resources at ShopNBC. He has held similar positions with Target Corp. and Marshall Fields.
Family Dollar operates over 6,500 stores in 44 states.
