Farm Fresh to Give Away Year's Worth of Gas to 10 Shoppers
Farm Fresh Food and Pharmacy is giving away free gasoline for a year to 10 lucky customers this Saturday at one of its Virginia Beach, Va. Stores.
Winners will receive 10 gallons of gas per week for 52 weeks. The promotion has caused a lot of excitement, Susan Mayo, vp consumer affairs and public relations, Farm Fresh told Progressive Grocer on Thursday.
"Farm Fresh understands the strain high gas prices have had on our customers," the company said in a statement. "This is a great way to thank our loyal customers who continue to choose Farm Fresh as their supermarket and fuel center of choice. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing of customer entries."
Based in Virginia Beach, Farm Fresh is a Supervalu company. The chain operates 45 stores in Hampton Roads, Franklin, and Richmond, Va.; and in Wilson and Elizabeth City, N.C.
