Farmer’s Market Wine Company, a New Zealand brand developed by winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, has partnered with Sonoma Valley, Calif.-based Don Sebastiani & Sons as its exclusive sales and marketing agent. “We’re extremely happy to be represented by Don & Sons,” said Goldschmidt. “Their expertise in sales and marketing will well position our fast-growing Farmer’s Market wine brand for success in the U.S. market.”
The Farmer’s Market Wine Company portfolio was developed in 2010 by Goldschmidt with the wines currently being sold in New Zealand and Australia. The portfolio includes a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a Gisborne Chardonnay and a unique Pinot Noir-Merlot blend from Marlborough and Gisborne. Priced at $19.99, the wines present a substantial value for such a well-regarded international brand.
“We jumped at the opportunity to have such a great brand and winemaker be a part of Don & Sons,” Said Donny Sebastiani. “Initial success has been outstanding with support from several national major retailers embracing this wonderful brand. We have very high expectations.”
