Fire Destroys Organic Valley HQ

Organic Valley’s corporate offices were heavily damaged by a fire that ripped through the La Farge, Wis., building Tuesday afternoon, according to reports. All of the 400 employees were evacuated safely and accounted for.

It took 11 fire crews about 18 hours to put out the fire that destroyed the main portion of the headquarters.

Jamie Lamonde, public affairs director for the organic food cooperative, told WKTB that Organic Valley customers shouldn't be affected.

“Our Cashton distribution center and all of our other facilities are fully operational, so we're accepting orders, shipping all of our deliveries on time,” said Lamonde.
