    FMI Posts Animated Video Series

    Partnership with Matrix Group highlights supermarket facts

    Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and Matrix Group, a Washington, D.C.-area web design, development and e-marketing agency, have teamed on an animated video series illustrating important industry facts through a digital platform.

    How U.S. Consumers Shop

    The first video in the series, “Americans Go to the Supermarket 1.7 Times per Week,” which has been posted to YouTube as well as FMI's website, shows how often U.S. consumers visit supermarkets and where they shop.

    In the creation of the series in collaboration with Matrix Group, Arlington, Va.-based FMI has drawn on its ongoing research on the emerging food retail landscape to present industry trends in a fresh format.
