For the first day of Information Resources, Inc.’s (IRI) Summit 2010: Reinventing CPG and Retail, which kicks off today, the schedule of world-class speakers includes Food Lion CEO, Rick Anicetti, Sara Lee SVP and chief marketing officer Philippe Schaillee, and SymphonyIRI’s president and CEO John Freeland.
Chicago-based IRI also unveiled the 15th annual publication of its “New Product Pacesetters” report, which features recently launched items in the food and beverage and nonfood categories, with analysis of first-year sales to determine the top 10 performers. This year’s top 10 food and beverage brands include Campbell’s Select Harvest, Bud Light Lime and Arnold Select Sandwich Thins, while among the top 10 nonfood brands are Quilted Northern Ultra Plush, Tide Total Care and Sundown Natural Vitamins.
