Fresh & Easy to Open Nine Calif. Stores in September

Tesco-owned Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market plans to open nine California stores in September, one of which will be its 100th store in the state.

“We are continuing to open stores and hiring in new neighborhoods throughout California,” said Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason. “Customers don’t want to compromise on quality or taste to save money for their families. That’s why we continue to focus on providing access to fresh, wholesome food options at prices our customers can afford, right where they live.”

The nine locations will open on three separate days in the following cities:

—Sept. 8: Sylmar, Rosemead, Oxnard, Signal Hill
—Sept. 15: Fresno, Clovis
—Sept. 22: San Diego, Oceanside

El Segundo, Calif.-based Fresh & Easy operates over 150 stores in California, Arizona and Nevada.
