LA MIRADA, Calif. - The Fresh Produce & Floral Council here is finalizing details for its annual dinner dance on Jan. 26, 2008 at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim.
As the FPFC's first event of the new year, the gala's theme, "The Way We Were," has special meaning as over 60 produce and floral industry veterans will be honored during a video that will be shown during the event.
Over 600 attendees are expected to turn out for the event, which will also welcome newly elected and returning board members, among which includes: board chair Liane Mast, Stater Bros. Markets; Ken Ewalt, Ready Pac, chair elect; and Patty Knoll, Temkin International, treasurer. In addition, Raul Gallegos, Bristol Farms, will transition to the post of immediate past chair.
