Los Alamitos, Calif.-based produce company Frieda’s Inc. has redesigned its annual promotional planning calendar with a new poster format. The calendar includes a chart of best-sellers by specialty produce category indicating the availability of each item month by month, and provides promotional ideas based upon holidays, observances and related events.
“We know specialty produce can be a frustrating category to manage,” said Karen Caplan, Frieda’s president and CEO. “We listened to what our best clients told us they would like to see in an annual promotional planner and we implemented their ideas.
