In-store bakeries can show their support for breast cancer research by signing on to General Mills' Pink Together awareness campaign dedicated to spreading support and hope to those touched by breast cancer.
Throughout October National Breast Cancer awareness month, General Mills is equipping in-store bakeries with special Pink Together toolkits, each of which includes POS shelf wobblers and peel-off stickers for use on participating bakery offerings and a special counter card with tear pad that will provide consumers with actionable steps to support the fight against breast cancer in their everyday lives.
In-store bakeries will also be able to tie-in to General Mills' center store awareness campaign which will appear on an assortment of GM brands that will feature special pink packaging this month, including: Cheerios, Nature Valley granola bars, Progresso Soup, Hamburger Helper, Green Giant frozen vegetables, Pillsbury Crescent and Sweet Rolls and refrigerated cookie dough, Cascadian Farm granola bars, Total cereal, Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes, Warm Delights and potatoes.
Through Pink Together, General Mills will make a $2 million national donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to aid in the fight against this disease.
Consumers can also visit PinkTogether.com, an online community of hope where those touched by breast cancer can connect and provide support, comfort and encouragement through inspiring personal stories.
