Giant-Carlisle Lowers Prices in Central Pa. Stores
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Starting this week, Giant Food Stores, LLC here has reduced prices on thousands of products at its Harrisburg, Lancaster and York, Pa. area locations. The retailer's weekly ads and red-and-white shelf signs are promoting the new low prices.
"Giant has been in the business of delivering service and value to central Pennsylvania customers for 84 years, and we continue to stay true to our heritage as an everyday low price operator," said Giant Food e.v.p. for sales and marketing Jeff Martin in a statement. "This decision is the result of an approach to pricing that provides customers with the greatest value possible on products they buy most often."
Customers will be able to realize considerable savings across many categories of the store, ranging from pet food to paper products and baby food to many seafood, chicken, meat, and deli products.
Officials from Giant were unavailable for further comment.
Giant Food operates stores in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia under the Giant Food Stores, Tops Markets, Martin's Food Markets and FoodSource banners.
