Giant-Carlisle Names Dir. Advertising

Greg Tobin

Giant Food Stores, LLC has promoted of Greg Tobin III to the position of director of advertising. Reporting directly to senior director of advertising and marketing Nancy Appleby, Tobin, the company's former sales development manager, will manage advertising and marketing programs, print and electronic advertising, circular production, and design development.

Tobin succeeds Appleby, who was recently promoted to her present position.

A recipient of the Heather Moore Marketing Award, Tobin began his career with Giant in 1995 as a deli associate, and previously worked in the stores as a baker and assistant deli manager before rising to advertising production operator in 1997. Tobin earlier held the positions of advertising production coordinator and advertising production manager.

Carlisle, Pa.-based Giant Food Stores, an Ahold USA division, operates stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia under the Giant Food Stores, Martin's Food Markets, and FoodSource banners.
