Giant-Carlisle Names SVP/General Counsel
Giant Food Stores, LLC has elevated Laura Williams to the position of SVP and general counsel from her previous position of VP and general counsel. In her new role, Williams will continue to head the legal department, as well as oversee the risk management and food safety departments.
Before joining Giant in 2005, Williams was a partner with a Harrisburg, Pa.-based law firm. She currently serves on the board and the executive committee of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber, is a member of the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association board of directors and is active in the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Carlisle, Pa.-based Giant Food Stores, LLC operates stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia under the Giant Food Stores, Martin's Food Markets and FoodSource banners.
