Giant-Landover/Stop & Shop's VIP Program Now Includes Dairy, Frozen, and Coffee Items

LANDOVER, Md. and QUINCY, Mass. -- Giant Food, LLC and the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. said yesterday that as part of the Ahold banners' ongoing Value Improvement Program (VIP), they would lower everyday prices on thousands of dairy, frozen and coffee products. The price reductions, which will all Giant-Landover and Stop & Shop will be implemented next month.

Since VIP rolled out last year, the chains have reduced prices of produce, water, juices, cereal, pet foods, paper goods, baby care products, and household supplies, among other items.
In the near future Giant and Stop & Shop will herald when the new prices will take effect via bold red signs in the aisles and in the supermarket chain's weekly circular.

Employing about 21,000 associates, Giant Food, LLC operates 185 supermarkets in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C. Stop & Shop employs more than 59,000 associates and operates 389 stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and New Jersey.
