    Goldenberg’s Offers Series of ‘Nutty’ E-cards

    Peanut Chews brand celebrates National Nut Day on Oct. 22

    In celebration of National Nut Day on Oct. 22, the Goldenberg’s brand is offering consumers the opportunity to tell loved ones how “nuts” they are about them with Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews’ new collection of e-cards, available online.

    The e-cards feature a video message from “Mr. Old School,” the popular character from Goldenberg’s series of television commercials, and can be e-mailed or posted on the recipients Facebook or Twitter page. There are several cards to choose from including “happy birthday” and “anniversary” greetings, “get well” and “thank you” cards, and even an “old school apology.” Additional holiday greetings will be added seasonally as well.

    “Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews e-cards are a nutty way for Peanut Chews lovers to express themselves for a variety of occasions,” said Bob Zender, marketing manager for Philadelphia-based Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews, a division of Just Born, Inc.

    In addition to its series of e-cards, Goldenberg’s has also reenergized the classic candy brand with its “Chewin’ It Old School” advertising campaign, which includes TV commercials, mobile apps, ringtones and wallpapers, transit signs, billboards, and sports partnerships. With the help of “Goldie,” the company’s fully-restored vintage 1967 VW Microbus, brand fans can keep “Chewin’ It Old School” around the region as street teams sample the snack at community events and hometown sports venues.
