The organization said it is expanding its retail sales force to meet growing demand for Web site solutions for online grocery planning and shopping.

Grocery Shopping Network has named Kraft Foods-veteran Bill Blaney to its growing sales team. Blaney holds the title of manager of retail sales. The company said the addition of Blaney to its sales force would help it provide its expanding retail grocery base with the technology and service these customers need.

Blaney spent 12 years at Kraft Foods where he held various executive sales positions. After Kraft, Blaney worked in electronic marketing and spent five years as director of retail marketing at Catalina Marketing Corporation, 11 years as vp of business development at Inter-Act e-marketing, S&H Solutions and most recently with the Pay By Touch Company.

Grocery Shopping Network recently added its first international grocery chain to its growing retailer base. The Minneapolis-based company connects consumers, retailers and brands through its content and software for supermarket websites. Its services allow consumers to plan a shopping trip or place an order online.
