    GSN Swells its Ranks

VPs for tech and national sales join digital marketing resource

The Grocery Shopping Network (GSN) has hired Scott Simerlein as its vice president of technology and development to take the lead in providing strategic and tactical guidance for development, client service and operations, systems, database, analytics, and project management.

“We are very pleased to have Scott join our organization. He is a perfect fit for the GSN culture and his industry experience, tireless work ethic, and exceptional reputation for customer service are invaluable to our team,” said Robert Krajeski, GSN president. “We have already accomplished many things in the short amount of time Scott has been with us, and the exciting thing is that we’ve just begun.”

Simerlein’s prior experience includes VP of IS and process improvement at the North American Membership Group, a $250 million multichannel database marketing and affinity organization. “My favorite success story is the one we’re writing right now - we’ve architected some pretty innovative and potentially game changing ideas on the drawing board with specific plans to bring them to the market sooner than later,” Simerlein said. “I’m personally excited about how these could transform and improve the shopping experience as digital plays an increasing role in the near future.”

GSN also has added Jeff Zoss as VP of national sales to provide leadership and direction for the sales and customer service teams to position them as leaders and enhance service for CPG clients.

“We are very excited to bring Jeff on board to assist with our sales strategy,” Krajeski said. “His background and expertise are a great fit for GSN and will assist us in achieving our next milestone.”

Zoss’ prior experience includes the successful opening of ValueClick, Inc.’s Minneapolis office, where he provided display, video and lead generation solutions to agencies and direct clients in Minneapolis and the Midwest.

“I enjoy the ability to directly affect the growth and direction of GSN,” Zoss said. “The blueprint of where the company wants to be has been done and I have the ability to help put together a team that will get us to the next milestone.”

GSN offers digital shopper planning and marketing tools for grocery retailers, CPG and shoppers.
