BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Haggen, Inc. said it plans to install a price optimization solution to enhance its promotional and everyday pricing strategies.
Haggen will use Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS Retail's price optimization software to model, forecast, and measure the impact of its pricing and promotional decisions.
"Our selection criteria focused on in-depth retail experience and demonstrable results with other retailers," said Harrison Lewis, v.p. and c.i.o. of Haggen. "KSS Retail has a very experienced team who know retail and understand the importance of using the science of optimization to better align pricing with overall corporate strategy."
Haggen. operates 33 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy, TOP Food & Drug and Larry's Market names.
