Harris Teeter Adds to PL Frozen Ice Cream Lineup
Just in time to beat the summer heat, southeast regional operator Harris Teeter has rolled out two new product lines to its private label ice cream program: Smooth & Creamy Churned ice cream and Frozen Yogurt. The result of several months of work by the Matthews, N.C.-based company’s Hunter Farms Ice Cream production team and dairy and frozen management staffs, the 12 flavors of Smooth & Creamy Churned ice cream and six flavors of Frozen Yogurt arrive in Harris Teeter stores this month, complementing the grocer’s current All Natural, Premium, and Light product lines.
The Smooth & Creamy Churned Ice Cream flavors are French Vanilla, Caramel Delight, Butter Pecan, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chip, French Silk, Fudge Tracks, NSA Vanilla, Take the Cake, Coffee, Chocolate and Vanilla, while the Frozen Yogurt comes in Fat Free Vanilla, Fat Free Black Raspberry, Fat Free Caramel, Fat Free Peach, Fat Free Blueberries & Cream, and Low Fat Vanilla varieties.
