Harris Teeter has rolled out its online Express Lane Home Shopping service to the grocer’s Fayetteville, N.C., store to help make customers’ grocery shopping experience more convenient.
Customers are able to place Express Lane orders as of 3 p.m., Sept 14, and Harris Teeter will waive the usual $4.95 fee on all orders picked up Sept. 15 through Oct. 12. As an added incentive, Fayetteville shoppers will also get $10 off one Express Lane order of $50 or more when they enter the code HTFA at checkout. All of these promotions are valid only for orders from the Fayetteville location.
The Matthews, N.C.-based grocer already offers Express Lane at over 60 stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Delaware, Maryland and Georgia. Harris Teeter operates a total of 192 stores in those states and Florida.
To use the service, shoppers place their orders online at harristeeter.com, and store associates shop for them. Customers can choose from any products offered in the chain’s stores. The service accepts coupons and stores can fill hours on a minimum of four hours’ advance notice.
