Harris Teeter Gives Shoppers a Shot at Meeting Ex-'American Idol' Finalist
Harris Teeter is giving customers the chance to meet "American Idol" season 6 finalist Chris Richardson at one of its Charlotte-area stores today.
The promotion is being sponsored by Edy's Ice Cream, and Richardson's visit to the Matthews, N.C.-based chain's store at The Shops at Blakeney coincides with the launch of five new American Idol flavors of Edy's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream.
Ice cream lovers and "Idol" fans can vote for their favorite ice cream flavors at www.slowchurned.com until May 31. The winning Edy's Slow Churned American Idol flavor will earn a permanent spot in the Slow Churned light ice cream line-up. Fans who cast a vote before April 29, 2008 will be entered for a chance to win a trip to the "American Idol" finale and other prizes.
The limited edition "American Idol" flavors are available until September.
