Carolina Hurricane left wing Nathan Gerbe has been chosen as the namesake of Harris Teeter’s first signature sub sandwich of the season. Gerbe will be on hand at Harris Teeter’s North Hills East store, 120-100 St. Albans Dr., Raleigh, N.C., on Thurs., Jan. 16, to debut his personally designed “Gerb’s Top Shelf Sandwich.”
Featuring roasted turkey, Virginia ham, lettuce and tomatoes, black pepper and topped off with ranch dressing on wheat bread, Gerb’s top-shelf sandwich is $3.99; a lunch pack version of the sandwich and a choice of a Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut cookie is also available for $4.99.
Harris Teeter’s Fresh Foods Market offers made-to-order sandwiches and wraps daily and will add additional Signature Sub Sandwiches this season.
