Harveys COO Renamed Muscular Dystrophy Association National Board

Tom Robinson, vp and coo of Harveys Supermarkets, has been re-elected to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) board as a national vice president, marking the third year he has served in this position, said Food Lion, which owns the Harvey banner.

Last year, Robinson led his company's team of more than 4,000 members to raise more than $99,000 for MDA. In 11 years, Harveys Supermarkets has raised nearly $1.9 million for MDA by selling shamrocks at registers and through an annual golf tournament.
