HEB Recalls Looney Tunes Valentine Candy Watch Bracelets
SAN ANTONIO -- H.E. Butt Grocery Co. here has issued a precautionary recall of Looney Tunes candy bracelet/watches, because it said the product may contain foreign metal.
The grocer's Quality Assurance Lab found in one of the candy-filled bracelets a piece "foreign metal" approximately just over a half-inch in length. No other pieces have reportedly been found.
HEB officials said there have been no reports of illnesses or injuries.
HEB said it is working closely with the product's manufacturer to resolve this issue, according to press reports.
