Hillshire Farm has debuted a new 30-second television spot, entitled “Hickory,” in an effort to highlight the flavor and versatility of the brand’s smoked sausage offerings. This is Hillshire’s second spot in support of the brand’s initiative to showcase its heritage, farmhouse roots and commitment to quality.
“While the Hillshire Farm brand has grown over many years to adapt to the demands of our consumers, we have also stayed true to the original values of our founders,” said Reggie Moore, VP of marketing for the Downers Grove, Ill.-based Hillshire Farm brand. “This new ad highlights our iconic smoked sausage while telling the story of the taste, craftsmanship and the attention to detail that our brand has honored for over 75 years.”
The ad, created by Y&R New York, features the brand’s use of hickory wood and other savory spices to flavor its sausage offerings.
The Hillshire Brands Co.’s portfolio includes brands such as Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, State Fair, Sara Lee frozen bakery and Chef Pierre pies, as well as artisanal brands Aidells and Gallo Salame.
