Idaho Potato Commission Launches Part 2 of iTuber Video Contest

The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is once again inviting Idaho Potato fans to work their magic in front of the camera in the iTuber Video Contest Take II. In celebration of the International Year of the Potato, the Idaho Potato Commission has launched a special category just for Idaho high school students.

Last year marked the first year of the YouTube-based iTuber video contest, for which “consumers pulled out all stops,” said Frank Muir, IPC’s president and c.e.o. “We are very excited about this year’s contest and the new Idaho high school category and seeing how creative Idaho Potato lovers of all ages can get with their potatoes.”

Among the prizes to be awarded this year is $3,000 cash for the grand prize winners, $1,000 for two runners-up and MP3 player for all qualified entrants. In order to boost interest among Idaho high school students, one winner will also receive a $100 Savings Bond and $250 for his or her high school.

All entries must be received by 11:59pm EST May 31, 2008. For more information, visit www.iTuber.org.
