MADISON, Wis. - The International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association here installed a new slate of directors and officers for the 2007-2008 term at the group's annual business meeting held recently in Chicago.
Rick Goodman, s.v.p./foodservice & deli, Smithfield Deli Group, was elected as IDDBA's 44th president. He has been an officer and served on the group's board for the past six years, in addition to serving on all major committees. Goodman succeeds Dave Peterson, v.p./sales, Bel Brands USA, who continues to serve on IDDBA's board.
Other new IDDBA officers for 2007-2008 are: e.v.p. Peter Redmond, v.p./division merchandise manager, deli & seafood, Wal-Mart Supercenters; first v.p. John Sullivan, president/c.e.o., Norseland, Inc.; and treasurer Mark Rudy, v.p./sales, Hubert Co.
Industry leaders elected to serve three-year terms on IDDBA's board include: Judy Bequette, corporate v.p./bakery, Supervalu, Inc.; Kevin Delahunt, president, food ingredients division, Sargento Foods Inc.; Brian Lime, director, customer teams East, Land O'Lakes, Inc.; Sean Moran, director/sales, eastern retail division, Schreiber Foods, Inc.; Robert Nectow, v.p., deli/prepared foods & bakery procurement, Ahold USA, Inc.; Judy Page, director, business development, Allison's Gourmet Kitchens; and Greg Schlafer, director/general manager, bakery channel segments, General Mills Bakeries & Foodservice.
