IFCO Joins Sustainability Consortium
IFCO Systems, a supplier of Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs), has joined The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) in the food, beverage and agriculture sector of the organization.
IFCO is an international logistics service provider with more than 210 locations worldwide. IFCO RPCs are used primarily to transport fresh produce from growers to grocery retailers.
“IFCO has always championed environmental sustainability,” said Hillary Femal, director of strategic market development at IFCO. “IFCO will continue to work to improve the sustainability of global agriculture supply chains, providing efficient and sustainable solutions for packaging. We look forward to expanding our sustainable efforts through our TSC membership.”
TSC’s food, beverage and agriculture sector is the largest sector in TSC and home to other participants, such as Kellogg's, Miller Coors and PepsiCo, Inc.
