CM Packaging Acquires Stone Plastics

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. -- CM Packaging based here, a division of C.M. Products, Inc., has acquired Cadiz, Ky.-based Stone Plastics, Inc., which is ranked among the top 50 thermoformers of custom and stock products in North America.

Stone produces plastic packaging and containers primarily for the baking, fresh, and frozen food, fresh-cut, and produce industries. The Cadiz plant employs approximately 100 people and manufactures its plastic products from PET, OPS, PS, PP, HIPS, and PLA resins and has over 140,000-square-feet of production and warehouse space.
