Daymon Worldwide has appointed Suzette Recinos its chief legal officer. Recinos is also a member of Daymon's executive leadership team.

"Our legal team is a key business partner at Daymon in helping us to understand the global landscape of risks and opportunities so we can balance them strategically for the benefit of our retailer and supplier partners," explained Carla Cooper, CEO of the Stamford, Conn.-based company, adding that Recinos comes aboard "as we navigate new business growth opportunities around the world."

Recinos joins Daymon from Stamford-based Pitney Bowes Inc., where she was hired in 2005 as senior counsel for international operations, eventually rising to the role of VP and deputy general counsel. While at Pitney Bowes, Recinos was the lead attorney for several of its business units globally, as well as taking part in various other areas of the corporate legal practice, among them software licensing, transnational transactions and advising senior management on securities law matters.

Before Pitney Bowes, Recinos was an associate at two law firms: Edwards, Angell, Palmer & Dodge LLP, in Stamford, and Kutak Rock LLP, in Kansas City, Mo. Among many other professional honors, she was named a Top Lawyer Under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association in 2009.

Through its industry expertise in private brand building, experiential consumer marketing and innovative retail-driven services, Daymon collaborates with more than 100 major retailers and almost 6,000 manufacturers in 50 countries.
