Harris Teeter Offering Big Gas Promotion, Gearing Up for Race Festival
MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Regional chain Harris Teeter here is in the race for customer loyalty with several innovative promotions.
The Ruddick Corp. subsidiary is offering a CITGO cash card giveaway in which customers can get a $40 CITGO cash card free. Customers must use their VIC card (Harris Teeter's loyalty card) and spend $40 or more in one shopping trip for 16 out of 18 weeks between May 3 and Sept. 5. Once they qualify, they'll receive the $40 CITGO cash card, which is valid for $40 in free gasoline and other products at any CITGO location.
Harris Teeter is also gearing up for the 16th Annual Harris Teeter Race Festival, to be held May 22 at Knights Stadium in Fort Mill, S.C. The festival provides guests the opportunity to meet their favorite racecar drivers, bid on racing auction items, and sample food from more than 40 different vendors while raising money for charity.
All that's required is a $5 donation per car.
