King and Prince Unveils Krabbycakes Recipe Contest

King and Prince Seafood has unveiled its “Spice it up” recipe contest featuring the company’s Mrs. Friday’s Krabbycakes. Participants can enter their best spicy Krabbycakes recipe by Oct. 31, 2013, for a chance to win $250.

“This contest will showcase how creative our customers can be by spicing up an original, Krabbycakes,” said Mike Tigani, director of marketing for Brunswick, Ga.-based King and Prince Seafood.

The industry has seen a 19 percent increase in spicy seafood dishes on menus in the past two years. In response, King and Prince is engaging consumers with this new promotion featuring Krabbycakes, which are made with real snow crab meat, surimi seafood, real butter, fresh cream and coated in light, Panko breadcrumbs.
