Martin's Super Markets Moves to Scan Based Trading

DALLAS - Martin's Super Markets of South Bend, Ind., said it plans to move to scan based trading relationships with its suppliers using sbtLink, the scan based trading service from the viaLink Company.

"Customer service is the top priority at every Martin's store. With viaLink's services enabling us to enter into scan based trading relationships, we will be able to further streamline our supply chain and collaborate with our suppliers. That will allow us to put even more emphasis on customer service and know that we have our suppliers fully supporting us," said Randy Holtzinger, VP of sales and marketing of Martin's.

Martin's Super Markets operates 18 stores throughout the Michigan-Indiana area.
