Multifoods Distribution Group Changes Name to Vistar
DENVER - Multifoods Distribution Group, a leading distributor to the vending and foodservice channels, announced on Monday that the company's name has been officially changed to Vistar Corporation.
Vistar Corporation will operate under the name Vistar/VSA and will continue to service vending operators and foodservice customers. Vistar is headquartered in Denver, Colo. and employs approximately 2500 people and operates 27 distribution centers throughout the United States.
"We want our customers and suppliers to understand that even though our name has changed, we are still devoted to their success as a business operator," said George Holm, president and CEO. "Our goal is to maintain and build new partnerships in the industry."
