Nature's Path Promotes Key Execs in Sales and Marketing

RICHMOND, B.C. -- Privately held company Nature's Path Foods, a leading producer of USDA-certified organic foods based here, has promoted several executives in its sales and marketing department.

Chip Goble, who has worked hard building the Nature's Path brand in the U.S. market for nine years as U.S. national sales manager, will now serve as v.p. of North American Sales. In this new role he will join the company's long-standing Canadian National Sales Manager Helen Midwood to expand sales and marketing efforts in Canada. Goble's career started in 1986 at Chuck's Supermarket. He also worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises and Fresh Fields Markets (Whole Foods Market) before starting in 1997 as Nature's Path Foods' Eastern U.S. sales manager.

Jeff Davis, who was recruited to join Nature's Path as its director of sales West more than seven years ago, will now be U.S. national sales manager. In his new post Davis will lead the company's U.S. sales team and continue to expand upon Nature's Path sales growth, which exceeded 20 percent in 2005.

Erik Eaton, who spent the past five years as Nature's Path Foods' Eastern regional sales manager, will now be responsible for supervising three regional managers as district sales manager East. He has 15 years of experience working in the industry as a broker, distributor, and manufacturer's representative.

David Neuman has been promoted to e.v.p. of global sales & marketing. In his expanded role at Nature's Path, Neuman will be responsible for building the company's corporate strategy, expanding the brand internationally, and overseeing the growing sales and marketing teams. Neuman, who has worked at Nature's Path for nine years, continues to report directly to the founders, Arran and Ratana Stephens. In addition to Neuman's extensive experience in the natural and organic food industry, he currently serves on the Whole Grain Council's board of directors as vice chair.

Nature's Path manufactures a full lineup of products, including cereals, breads, waffles, cereal bars, granola bars, cookies, and crackers. The company also produces EnviroKidz and LifeStream branded products.
