Reser’s Launches New Deli Salads

Move over, peanut butter and jelly, rice and beans, eggs and bacon. Grilled foods and side salads are the couple of the moment – at least for summer.

Indeed, just as grilled foods are a sure sign of the season, so, too, are prepared salads from the retail deli. This year, Reser’s is introducing four side salads to the Canadian market that are an ideal match for picnics and barbecues: Ranch Pasta Salad with Bacon, Potato Salad with Deviled Egg, Homestyle Potato Salad and Traditional Cole Slaw with Oil and Vinegar.

Those classic side salads will be available in Reser’s proprietary “sqround” (square-round) containers, in stores in Western and Central Canada. A campaign including advertising coupon, sampling and events is supporting the launch.
