Safeway to Roll Out Supercards Displays Nationwide

NEW YORK - BrandAid Marketing Corporation today announced the signing of a national in-store marketing agreement with Safeway Inc. The agreement will result in the installation of BrandAid Supercards displays in most of Safeway's 1,665 stores nationwide. The displays will be branded with the Safeway stores' logo and will be supported with mentions on Safeway's in-store radio network.

To date, Safeway has been displaying the BrandAid Supercards in several of its Vons stores in the Los Angeles area, Dominick's stores in Chicago and Safeway stores in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area. The new agreement announced today will expand the scope of the alliance to Safeway's stores across the country.

BrandAid's Supercards displays are specially designed units that offer shoppers free advertising-based creative cards, CD-ROMs, samples and promotional items. The combination of the display's free postcards and its location at the entrance of retail stores provides manufacturers, companies and retailers with high levels of consumer response. Each Supercards display unit is equipped with 13 slots, each stocked with BrandAid Marketing Corporation Supercards promotions and advertising.

"It is a privilege for us to be associated with one of the great names in grocery retailing. Our Supercards have been very popular with Safeway's customers, and we look forward to continuing to work with marketers to ensure the creation of interesting and desirable materials that Safeway's customers will continue to want to take home," said Jay Elliott, CEO of BrandAid Marketing Corp.
