Transora Names Graham Hodge General Manager for European Operations

Transora, the global eMarketplace for consumer packaged goods (CPG) suppliers, manufacturers and retailers, today announced that it has appointed Graham Hodge as its new General Manager for Europe, effective immediately. Hodge reports to Judith A. Sprieser, Transora's CEO.

Hodge, 47, most recently served as general manager of Hewlett-Packard's consulting operations in Europe, where he led a team of more than 500 people in 10 countries. During his 17-years at Hewlett-Packard, Hodge oversaw areas such as supply chain consultancy for CPG companies, European marketing functions and strategic planning of HP's consulting business in the UK and Northern Europe.

As a key player in the launch of HP Consulting in Europe in 1997, he was part of the global implementation team that helped create a consulting business growing at over 40% per year. Hodge has lived in Switzerland and Germany.

"Graham Hodge's broad international general management, sales and marketing knowledge will be of tremendous value to our growing European team, particularly at a time when an increasing number of European businesses are taking advantage of Transora's collaborative services," said Judy Sprieser. "Graham has strong ties in the CPG industry and combined with his broad technical and business expertise he is the perfect blend for Transora's European customers."

Hodge's main focus is going to be on supporting Transora's customers in their adoption of services to obtain business benefits for their organizations. His past work has brought him into close contact with a number of them, including Procter & Gamble and Unilever - both part of the list of customers using Transora's services. Other European based companies or ones with significant European operations are
Reckitt Benckiser, Coca-Cola, and the Earthgrains Company.

Hodge and his team will work with the accounts to drive the usage of the available services such as retail data catalogue, CPFR and different procurement services.
