viaLink and UCCnet Team To Speed Up Adoption of Standards-Based Data Synchronization

DALLAS and Lawrenceville, N.J. - UCCnet today announced The viaLink Company has joined UCCnet's "Partners In Sync" program as a preferred alliance partner. The agreement is intended to accelerate the adoption of standards-based data synchronization for consumer package goods trading partners.

The "Partners in Sync" program certifies solution providers to develop compliant business applications and services that enable trading partners to rapidly and efficiently get on board with UCCnet, according to the company. This partnership allows UCCnet trading partners rapid integration into UCCnet services and paves the way for viaLink customers to join the UCCnet trading community.

"The adoption of standardized approaches that enable interoperability within the CPG industry will accelerate and simplify the deployment of data synchronization for both suppliers and retailers," said Bob Noe, president, CPG and Retail for viaLink. "With this partnership, companies can immediately begin enjoying the increased sales, cost savings and higher productivity created by fully synchronized trading relationships."

viaLink and UCCnet announced their initial agreement in February 2000. Since that time, viaLink, which provides data synchronization and advanced e-commerce services to the retail food industry supply chain, has become one of the first production-certified solution providers to successfully on-board a supplier to UCCnet and has continued to provide support services to members of the UCCnet community.
