Wal-Mart Names New C.F.O. for International Operations
BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Wal-Mart Stores has selected Wan Ling Martello, a financial veteran with experience at Borden Foods and Kraft Foods, as s.v.p. and c.f.o. for its international operations. Martello will join the company at headquarters here Nov. 14.
Martello most recently served as president, U.S.A., of NCH Marketing Services, Inc., a provider of promotional management solutions to manufacturers, merchandisers, and retailers of consumer products in several countries around the world. She had been the company's c.o.o. from 1999 to 2004 and its c.f.o. from 1998 to 1999.
Prior to NCH, Martello was corporate controller for Borden Foods when it was owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. She also served for 10 years in various financial positions for Kraft Foods.
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. operates Wal-Mart Stores, supercenters, Neighborhood Markets, and Sam's Club locations in the United States.
