IGA Honors Top Suppliers for 2017

At the recent IGA Awards of Excellence in Las Vegas, IGA named Bozzuto’s Inc. the IGA 2017 Licensed Distribution Center of the Year and reach | influence as the IGA 2017 Red Oval Partner of the Year.

Bozzuto’s Inc. received the award for its leadership and innovation in the advancement of the IGA brand in the United States. The Cheshire, Conn.-based distributor logged a number of significant accomplishments in support of IGA in 2016, including introducing IGA to a major metro market with the addition of 17 stores in Philadelphia, and supporting the IGA Coca-Cola Institute’s new Learning Leader program. Bozzuto’s also raised more than $1.5 million for Special Olympics in 2016 through the Hometown Foundation, and more than $6.2 million overall.

This is the seventh time in 20 years that Bozzuto’s has won the Licensed Distribution Center of the Year award. “We are thrilled to be able to bring the President’s cup back to Bozzuto’s,” said George Motel, Bozzuto’s Inc.’s EVP. “The honor is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our associates and customers.
