Lee’s Marketplace Buys Day’s Market

Lee’s Marketplace is purchasing Day’s Market in Heber City, Utah, and will transition the store to the Lee’s banner after the sale is finalized, which is expected to Sept. 26.

Lee’s president Jonathan Badger anticipates a smooth transition of the 40,000-square-foot store and is committed to continuing the excellent customer service and quality products that customers expect. The store will continue to offer the freshest produce, scratch bakery products and an in-store butcher, but Badger plans to expand the organic produce offerings and specialty foods throughout the store.

“We are excited to bring Lee’s to the Heber community and are looking forward to getting to know our new shoppers,” said Jonathan Badger, president of Lee’s Marketplace. “We have the deepest respect for Day’s Market and have worked with them for years as members of Associated Food Stores.”

Lee’s Marketplace currently operates three stores in Logan, Smithfield and North Ogden, with a fourth store under construction in North Salt Lake, which is expected to open later this fall.
