    Live From NGA: PG Honors 2017 Top Indies

    Awards reception brings together top independent grocers

    Progressive Grocer honored its 2017 Outstanding Independents at an awards reception in Las Vegas

    Progressive Grocer honored its 2017 class of Outstanding Independents at an awards reception held Feb. 13 at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during the NGA Show.

    Award recipients were on hand from every category -- overall single-store, overall multistore, overall fresh excellence, overall new concept design, bakery, center store, deli/prepared foods, meat/seafood, produce and technology – to accept the honor. Members of the industry also were on hand to celebrate the best of the best among independent grocers.

    This year’s class of winners demonstrate what makes the independent grocery market thrive: a commitment to quality, their staffs and their communities. Information about each winner is availabe in Progressive Grocer’s February issue.
