PGI Seeks Nominations for 2014 Outstanding Indie Awards

Each year, Progressive Grocer Independent recognizes independent grocers for excellence in retailing. Past winners of the PGI Outstanding Independent Awards have demonstrated innovation that sets them apart from chain competitors, through unique marketing and merchandising programs, service-based programs and operational enhancements.

Each award category will have two winners ? one for single-store operators and one for multi-store operators ? and will be segmented into categories where independents traditionally shine the brightest.

Winners will be recognized during the NGA show in February 2014, as well as in the April issue of Progressive Grocer Independent and online.
