Plum Market Readies for 2nd Ann Arbor Store

Plum Market recently finalized plans to open its second Ann Arbor store in late fall in the North Campus neighborhood that will focus on service, organics and local and specialty food.

In addition, the store will offer an extensive array of shopping amenities, including a wine bar that will host weekly events and a growler filling station for fans of craft beer.

Plum Market CEO and co-founder Matt Jonna is eager to add a second local grocery store in Ann Arbor. “We’ve had a number of requests to open another store and serve the community with a quality shopping experience,” he said. “We’re excited to open the store this fall and show the North Campus neighborhood what service is all about.”

The newest Plum Market location will expand its current footprint to 25,238 square feet and will employ 125 full- and part-time associates.

This will be the fifth store for Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Plum Market, which also opened a location in Chicago earlier this year and plans to open a sixth store inside the Detroit Metropolitan Airport later this year.
