Shop ’n Save Offers Thanks With Free Turkeys

Supervalu’s Pittsburgh area Shop ’n Save independent grocers are once again trotting out a free turkey offer to customers who spend $350 and use their Perks loyalty rewards card between Oct. 10 and Nov. 13.

The Shop ’n Save turkey promotion is a holiday tradition that rewards shoppers with a free Honeysuckle, Grade-A frozen turkey of up to 14 pounds during the five-week period with their Perks Card. Customers who spend a total of $499 during the five-week period are eligible to receive a free turkey up to 22 pounds. Shoppers who earn a free turkey will have the reward automatically loaded to their Perks Card.

“Shop ’n Save owners are proud to be a part of many holiday family meals throughout the region,” said Bill Lipsky, director of merchandising for Supervalu. “The annual free turkey promotion is a great way for our local owners to thank and reward their customers for their frequent and loyal patronage throughout the year.”

Customers will be able to track their progress toward a free turkey with their Perks Card online, or on their mobile phone by texting “Turkey” to 467467. The free turkeys can be redeemed at participating locations Nov. 14-28.

Supervalu supplies more than 90 independently owned and operated Shop ’n Saves in Western Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Ohio and West Virginia.
